web developer, designer & creative coder from buenos aires. say hello at hola@mariamartina.com
bardo.zone is a personal platform where I collect experiments and interactive scenes, many developed during my studies in Electronic Arts at UNTREF. The original concept was a kind of TV: each channel a different scene I had built. That idea evolved as new types of interactivity were added and the project grew beyond its initial scope.
The name comes from the Tibetan concept of bardo — the in-between space after death and before rebirth. The project was rooted in an imagining of what forms and sensations might exist beyond the physical world; a space without a body, without gravity, without the shapes we know. I worked alongside Lucas Santamarta (Metamensaje Studio), who handled the visual design. The creative direction and concept were mine.
